At first as claimed by the Hotel as it is near Airport is false, you have to travel at least 4 to 5 kms to reach Airport. Other than that don’t go by the ratings on OYO app. I stayed in the Red Stone hotel on 19.11.2023. I had booked my stay through OYO and had already paid full amt. but when I reached the place the app was showing Rs. 698/- pending. When I inquired for the same at the counter, they told me that, they don’t know anything and I have to pay the rest amt. in cash. When I told them that I want to pay on app they refused to give me the stay. Finally I paid the amt. in cash and entered my room. Then I called customer care of OYO and made a complaint, then I got to know that it’s the hotel manager who added the amt. at last hour and after paying cash again removed the amt. from app. OYO representative tried to contact hotel reception for clarification but they were not picking up the call, then I reached the reception desk and gave the manager my phone as I was on the call with the OYO. He confirmed that he charged me extra then after OYO paid me extra amt. that I had paid at the counter in my account. By all this I got to know that this hotel and staff are totally fraud and disrespectful. They will scam you in paying extra in the hotel or will deny giving you the room. Even they will not provide you the basic facilities like water. Location is bad rooms bad smelled and had cockroaches even on our bed and all of the above staff and owner all are unprofessional, rude and scammers.

Worst experience ever, the rooms were smelling like hell.... Lots of cockroaches were there in the rooms, rooftop even at the bed as well.... The telephone was not working..... bedsheets were old and looked like they hadn't been washed since so long...
Moreover, at the time of booking the application was showing to pay somewhere around 1600 at the time of booking however when I reached inside the hotel for check-in and opened the application for sharing the booking I'd I saw that another 700 was added which I had to pay at that time, when I paid using the application my check-in was denied by hotel and they told me that why have you paid using the application as we are not getting enough cut from Oyo itself.
Worst experience.bad behaviour.unhygienic rooms.unethical practice.

I had a poor experience during my visit to OYO. Firstly, I booked the hotel online for 2 days at Rs.1467, but when I arrived at the hotel at 6 PM, they insisted on payment at the hotel instead of through the app. This meant I couldn't avail the Rs.150 discount offered on the app. Surprisingly, the price at the hotel jumped to Rs.1857 without any explanation. I decided to cancel and rebook, but they checked me in through their app, making cancellation impossible. Consequently, I had to pay Rs.1857 at the hotel, which was frustrating.
The room experience was satisfactory with no complaints. However, the hotel didn't allow outside food, and I had to order from their own restaurant. Additionally, they charged for drinking water, and it wasn't provided for free.
According to the OYO app policy, the check-out time was 11 AM, with an additional 2-hour adjustment period. However, at 10:30 AM on the day of check-out, the hotel staff insisted that I leave immediately or face extra charges. I was forced to check out by 11 AM, leaving me with just 30 minutes to get ready. This was unexpected and quite harassing.

They are proper scammers more than hotel owners ... They will literally scam you about payment ... Do not even think about visit this hotel ... You can get far better option than this ... Horrible experience... Because of the payment issue we didn't checked in and they clicked a picture of our id xerox then torned it but after half an hour the app was showing a check in status... And after that when we called them they clearly denied everything and told the customer care that we just left five minutes ago (We already left maximum 1.5 hours ago) And they can show the id proof ... THE WORST hotel ever

I was shocked by seeing this but after having a long argument they let me In.... When I entered the room it looked like none other than the slum room and when I asked the receptionist to change the room he told me to pay 1000 extra for the same room which I have selected on the application while booking and they clearly instructed me to pay them on their phone pay number so that they will deny of I will raise issue with Oyo and same thing is happening with me now...
I was getting a lot better deals on other applications like trivago, ixigo and agoda however I trusted Oyo as I am their customer since last 5 years and now I have realised that it was my biggest mistake.
